- CM Punk vs. Umaga

I thought Judgment Day would have kicked off with the ECW title match, but alas. I guess starting off with the hometown boy isn’t a bad idea.

Umaga is dominating Punk – throwing him around and applying nerve holds. Punk tried for a sunset flip, but Umaga just sat on him and crushed the life out of Punk.

Punk tried hard for a powerslam on Umaga, but Umaga was too heavy and fell on Punk. Umaga gave Punk an uppercut, but he missed the headbutt from the second rope. Punk sent Umaga out of the ring and hit a dive onto the outside.

Punk tried for the bulldog but failed. He did, however, get out of the way out Umaga’s running ass. Punk hit a hard kick upside of Youmanga’s head and then the clothesline from the top.

Punk went for the GTS but Umaga countered it into a Samoan drop. Umaga went for the Samoan spike, but Punk countered with 3 stiff kicks to Umaga’s head – but they only rocked him. Umaga blocked the GTS and sent Punk into the corner and hit the running ass. Umaga finished Punk off with the Samoan spike.

Good start to Judgment Day.

Winner: Umaga

- Chavo said Cena is medically cleared to wrestle. Big Show was in Vickie’s office and said he will take out Cena tonight. Edge came in and stared off with Show before talking to Vickie.

- ECW Championship: Christian vs. Jack Swagger

ECW title time on Judgment Day.

Swagger chased Christian around the ring before taking the advantage. Christian then took the upper-hand and was able to hit the springboard splash to the outside.

Swagger threw Christian rib-first into the steel post and then worked away at Christian’s mid-section.

Both men went back-and-forth. Swagger went for the gut wrench powerbomb, but Christian wormed his way out and pulled down Swagger’s straps. Christian rolled up Swagger and used his tights for the win.

Another good match for Judgment Day.

Winner: Christian

- Edge said Chavo should be a man and deal with Santina.

- Shelton Benjamin vs. John Morrison

They started off slowly, but eventually Morrison did a 450 splash off the top rope onto Shelton. Morrison was kicked in the face to the outside, this allowed Shelton to take control of the match.

It was really boring when Shelton was getting the heat, but Morrison’s comeback is fun and exciting. Morrison went for the springboard kick, but Benjamin caught him and powerbombed Morrison into the corner.

Shelton missed the stinger splash and got hit with the springboard kick. Morrison then hit the starship pain for the victory.

Winner: John Morrison

- The Miz is coming out!

Miz referred to Morrison as Marty Jannetty. Miz addressed the “whats” and mocked the crowd. What a man. Miz says he’ll find a replacement for Cena to beat. Miz calls out a cubs player. He insulted the cubs to huge heat. He tells Alfonso to get into the ring. Alfonso doesn’t. He says as Alfonso is a substitute for Cena, he wins again. Miz 4-0!

Santino! He calls him “fizz”. Santino sticks up for his fellow Italian, Alfonso! He says WWE superstars look animals. Vickie is a pig, Vladimir is American eagle and Miz is a jackass. Santino said he hoped Miz brought his metal detector, because he brought some guns – he showed off his arms.

They brawled back and forth. The crowd went “boo” “yay” for each man.

Chavo came down and frog splashed Santino.

- Jericho insulted the fans and said he’ll beat Rey tonight.

- Intercontinental Championship: Rey Mysterio vs. Chris Jericho

IC title on the line next on Judgment Day.

Jericho had the upper-hand early on. Jericho did a cool looking spinning backbreaker. Jericho put Rey on the top rope and tried to pull his mask off. Rey spun out of the walls of Jericho, but was hit with another backbreaker.

Jericho dodged the 619. Rey went for a hurricanrana but Jericho went for the walls again. Rey got out of it and set Jericho up for the 619 again. Jericho caught Rey’s legs and locked in the walls. The people were going nuts for this.

Two near-falls but neither man got the win. Jericho went head first into the top turnbuckle, this allowed Rey to hit the 619 and then the splash for the victory. Great match.

Winner: Rey Mysterio

- WWE Championship: Randy Orton vs. Batista

I’m surprised this is going on third from the top. I’m guessing this will be a screwy finish.

It has been all Batista in the early going. Orton finally got some offense in and backdropped Dave on the guard rails. Very slow and no heat for this.

Orton did an awesome looking dropkick followed by an awesome looking DDT from the second rope. Orton stalked Dave and went for the punt – however, Batista hit the spear.

Orton rolled out of the ring and demanded that the ref count him out. Dave rolled him back into the ring. Orton then got a chair but Dave cut him off. Batista did a flying shoulder block FROM THE TOP.

Orton backed out of the Batista bomb and grabbed the title. He tried to run up the ramp, but Dave bought him back. He hit the spinebuster and went for the Batista Bomb, but Orton got out of it. Batista blocked two RKOs before Orton slapped the ref.

The ref called for the DQ and Legacy ran-in. RIC FUCKING FLAIR came down and saved Batista.

Winner: Batista via DQ

- Big Show vs. John Cena

Big Show kept trying to corner Cena. Back-and-forth Cena chants are going on. Big Show has been slowly beating Cena down.

Cena finally mounted some kind of offense. Cena hit the 5 knuckle shuffle but walked right into a chokeslam attempt. Cena got out of it and hit a DDT. Cena failed to lock in the STF.

Show hit the vader bomb. Cena kicked out, though. Cena moved out of the way of the second one. Cena failed again to lock in the STF. Cena did his leg-drop from the top and AGAIN failed to lock in the STF. Cena was then dropped face first to the mat by Big Show.

Show called for the knockout punch. Cena ducked the punch and hit the FU. Cena won!

The final few minutes were good, but it was really slow before that.

Winner: John Cena

- World Heavyweight Championship: Edge vs. Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy controlled Edge with some Ricky Steamboat-style armdrags. Jeff Hardy missed the whisper in the wind and Edge gained control of the match.

Jeff had a small amount of offense before missing a crossbody from the top rope. Jeff locked in the sharpshooter on Edge, but Edge got to the ropes.

Jeff Hardy hit the twist of fate for a 2 count. Jeff rolled trough on a powerbomb for a close 2. Jeff pulled the padding off of the guard rail and placed Edge on the table. As Jeff Hardy ran the rail, Edge hit the spear mid-air.

Back in the ring, Hardy hit the twist of fate on the ropes. Edge got his foot on the bottom rope, though. Edge kicked out of another twist of fate.

Jeff Hardy set the steps up and hit the flying legs to the face of Edge. As Jeff was climbing back over the security wall, Matt Hardy nailed his brother in the head with his cast. Jeff Hardy kicked out of a pin attempt by Edge!

Edge set Jeff Hardy up for the spear, but he missed. Jeff went up for the Swanton bomb but he took too long. Edge then hit a top rope Edgecution for the victory.

Winner: Edge
