J.R. posted a brief blog with some of his thoughts on The Bash and his recent conversation with Shawn Michaels.

On HBK, Jim Ross wrote:

Communicated with HBK and he’s had the summer off that he needed. Was in great spirts & never mentioned “retirement.” I would love to see Shawn back at Summerslam but that has not been confirmed.

On The Bash:

I admired the efforts & physicality of HHH/Orton in a challenging bout. Loved their effort.

Thought the conclusion/finish of Punk-Jeff to be return worthy, posing multiple questions, and adding to the rivalry.

Punk’s evolution has my attention & Jeff continues to fight and get “this close” to attaining another major title.

And finally, some thoughts on the young guys in WWE:

Jack Swagger showed flashes of why he’s going to be a future star. Bring him to SD I selfishly suggest.

I have great faith in Dolph Ziggler continuing to evolve. He’s a keeper.

I missed seeing red hot John Morrison at the Bash. Got a feeling Morrison won’t miss too many future PPV’s. John has HBK tendencies.
