Newcomer Demetrius Shipp plays the iconic rapper and as well as being nearly a dead ringer for Tupac, it looks like he'll deliver a powerful central performance. Jamal Woolard, who led Notorious as the eponymous Notorious B.I.G., reprises his role for the flick, while Stefon Washington tackles the part of Puff Daddy. The drive-by took place on September 7 and he died in the hospital six days later. The previous teaser landed on Tupac Shakur's birthday, with Morgan Creek Productions continuing to pay tribute to the artist on important dates in his biography.
The film was initially schedule to be released this month, probably around now.
