Mother Allegedly Tapes Son To Wall While On Facebook Live

Rudolph can be heard in the video telling her son he has "the best mommy in the whole wide world".

Shayla Rudolph, 18, was arrested on an abduction charge, Reynoldsburg police said. Her son was taken into custody by Franklin County Child Services. The video shows the boy taped to the wall with clear packing tape, and his mouth is taped shut. "Don't make me put more tape".

"You can see the TV from right there", she said. "You can't clean with the running around tearing up? Tape them to the wall", she said. You can't cook or none of that because they running around?

According to the network, the video was brought to the attention of Reynoldsburg, Ohio police by local ABC affiliate WSYX, which got a hold of the footage from a concerned viewer who saw the suspect post the video live to her Facebook on Jan 1. The woman has been arrested, and her son is in the care of Children's Services for safety.

The toddler, dressed in a diaper, continues crying in the background. Fox 28 reports Children's Services first contacted Rudolph about the video on January 5, and she claimed it was a joke.

In another Facebook live video, Rudolph can be seen disciplining her son by making him stand in a corner.

"They called Children Services on me, so fuck it, now he in the corner", Rudolph said. Call Children Services now, you can have his ass.

Reports say it is unclear when the video was posted. "Have a nice day", she said.

Police were tipped off to the video on Wednesday and started investigating, Reynoldsburg police Lt. Ron Wright told Crimesider.
