Contrary to what earlier reports said, the fresh press images suggest that the Huawei P10 is tipped to have a 5.1-inch full-HD display with 2.5D contoured edge around.
The lack of an upgrade in the screen department is a little disappointing but it still offers 432 pixels-per-inch and is protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass 5.
However, we do know we'll be getting both the P10 and the Plus in the UK - EE has already confirmed it'll carry both, and we expect others to follow. This software includes Highlights, Knuckle Swipe Split screen and One Swipe Global and Local search features.
Storage-wise, each phone only comes in one size: the P10 in 64GB and the Plus in 128GB.
Huawei also announced new Android Watches, the Huawei Watch 2 and Huawei Watch 2 Classic at its Mobile World Congress event.
The P10 runs Android 7.0 Nougat topped with Emotion UI 5.0.
As usual with Huawei phones, you'll love the sleek design of the P10 and P10 Plus.
The Huawei P10 renders reveal not only key features, but also the colors the phone will be available in. For pictures, there is the new Leica Dual-Camera 2.0 with 20MP monochrome sensor and 12MP RGB sensor on back and 8MP front camera for selfies.
The most interesting twist to Huawei's new phones might be its promise of an enhanced portrait mode. The P10 Plus has a smaller and narrower body compared to iPhone 7 Plus, but still packs a larger battery.
The EMUI 5.1 update brings forward a machine learning algorithm, based on which the UI learns how the user uses the device. It will launch in Europe by the end of March and is priced at 349.
The Huawei P10 and P10 Plus will be heading to India in the coming months and are priced at Eur 649 (roughly Rs 45,600) with the P10 Plus priced at Euro 699 (roughly Rs 49,000) for the 4GB RAM/64GB option and Euro 799 (roughly Rs 56,200) for the 6GB RAM/128GB option. They're LTE-enabled watches that take a Nano SIM for connectivity purposes. Along with these two designs, there is the Huawei Watch 2 Porsche Design which, much like the Mate 9, shows of a more luxurious fashion style. There is no word on US availability for the smartphones.
Huawei also on Sunday unveiled its second-generation Android Wear smartwatches, the Huawei Watch 2 and Watch 2 Classic. Huawei has gone with a complete makeover and it looks nothing like the original Huawei Watch.
