Penn State players invited to NFL Scouting Combine

The NFL Scouting Combine has shared the list of 330 draft-eligible players who have been invited to Indianapolis.

Former Michigan State Spartans Riley Bullough, Malik McDowell and Montae Nicholson also received NFL Combine invites, as did Corey Davis and Taylor Moton from Western Michigan, Cooper Rush from Central Michigan and Nate Theaker from Wayne State.

The nine players invited stand as a Clemson record, breaking the mark of eight set a year ago.

The NFL tries to invite the "top prospects" to participate in the week-long event, but talented players are seemingly overlooked every year. The Crimson Tide and Tigers have 10 players invited apiece.
