John Legend gives surprise performance in London train station

As John Legend arrived at the station after taking a EuroStar train, he wanted to know if the pianos were still there-which also served as an announcement that he meant to play.

That's exactly what happened in London today at St. Pancras station in London.

John Legend gave Londoners an wonderful surprise when he sat down at a piano in the middle of St. Pancras station and started performing his hits on a random Wednesday.

There's a public piano there and Legend, who just arrived in London, made a decision to give all the fans a special treat on their way to work.

Legend, 38, sang some of his biggest hits, including Ordinary People, All of Me and Surefire to stunned passersby.

A third wrote: "AS IF @johnlegend did a pop-up performance at St Pancras station while I was in my flat in my pyjamas 5 mins away". "Do they still have that piano there?" he tweeted.

The performance was uploaded as a live stream to promoter Live Nation's Facebook page where it was viewed by 42,000 users.

John recently announced his forthcoming European tour, set to begin in September.
