"Justice League" : Watch 1st trailer for upcoming superhero movie

Warner Bros dropped the first official trailer for their upcoming ensemble movie - after the Comic Con's first look - on Saturday (25 March).

Even though we get to see a quick glimpse of Amy Adams as Lois Lane, noticeably missing from most of the teasers and trailers is Henry Cavill's Superman.

Zack Snyder shared that all of the actors have wonderful personalities that they bring to Justice League. With last year's Suicide Squad failing to impress audiences and Snyder's previous DC effort Batman Vs Superman only faring a little better, Warner execs will be hoping that the third time's the charm for their latest DC vehicle. And to tell you the truth, it is one of the most satisfying videos you will see.

Having said that, the superheroes in the Justice League trailer are such iconic characters that this formula being used can be forgiven if and only if DC finally delivers and portrays Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, The Flash (and possibly Superman) with the respect and meticulousness that they deserve. In addition to Momoa and Heard it now also includes Willem Dafoe (as Aquaman's longtime ally, Vulko), Patrick Wilson (as Orm, Aquaman's half-brother), Nicole Kidman (as Aquaman's mother, Atlanna), and Temuera Morrison (as Tom Curry, Arthur's father). However, the "Argo" star withdrew from directing his own film. Then there is Ezra Miller, who plays The Flash, who is not only hilarious but also extremely full of life, and who is basically all over the place.

From being the butt of all superhero jokes to standing out tall and strong, the evolution of Aquaman is as much to be credited to Jason Momoa's towering personality along with director Zack Snyder's vivid style.

"Justice League" is still expected to add more members in the future, especially Green Lantern who is yet to be confirmed. There's a lot of conflict-kind of a trope now in team origin stories-but it seems they'll eventually mesh well at the end.

What do you think of Cyborg being at the heart of this team up?
