Temperatures stay steady in the 40s tonight and through Wednesday. Confidence is high in the forecast precipitation wise through Sunday morning but confidence decreases Sunday afternoon through early next week.
Once the clouds move out, clear skies will prevail the rest of the night, with lows in the low to mid 30s (0 to 1 degree Celsius). Breezy northwest winds will build throughout the day, gusting to 25 to 30 miles per hour at times. Expect a breeze in the morning from the north to increase and get a bit gusty in the afternoon. Temperatures through this stretch seem fairly seasonable, with the exception of Friday when rain and east flow win out yet again.
Wednesday a rainy, wet system moves into the region with rain arriving by lunchtime. IF any snow accumulates, the most likely locations would be grassy areas and elevated surfaces (decks, mailboxes, cars, etc.), and any accumulation should be well under an inch before the eventual changeover to rain. It should be dry through the day on Tuesday before rain returns Tuesday night with lows near 50. The overnight period features the chance for a few more showers.
Temperatures will be a touch cooler with a NE wind.mid 40s. Rain could linger into Saturday morning, but some model data suggest some clearing sooner. Highs will be in the upper-40s on Sunday and around 50 on Monday. Highs in the upper 60s with partly cloudy skies are expected.
