The game is dubbed " a squad's remarkable journey of personal growth and heroism across Europe in World War II and is a story about common men and women doing uncommon things to preserve freedom.

As with previous titles in the Call of Duty series, there will be some kind of PS4 exclusivity once it's released later this year, although details are yet to be confirmed. The latest creation in the Call of Duty franchise aka "Call of Duty: WW2" will take us back to its roots along the lines of the original game. The trailer of the Call of Duty: World War 2 was released and it buzzed the Twitter with people who couldn't get over the hype.

The release date is set for November 3 of this year, but you can put down your preorder for this game now.

During the initial announcement, Activision announced that prior to the 3 November launch, there will be a private beta for those that pre-order the game on console.

We have plenty of information on Call of Duty: WW2, which was revealed this week via a livestream. Eric Hirshberg, CEO at Activision, mentioned that Infinite Warfare's far future setting was not enjoyed by most of the fans, who've made a decision to ditch the game in a short period after its release. Here's hoping Activision and Sledgehammer games can pull off a similar feat.

In addition to a glossy campaign storyline and fast-paced versus multiplayer, the popular "zombies" game mode is coming back for "CoD: WWII", in which players team up to repel waves of undead soldiers. Call of Duty: WWII is not only about "an American war" and the single-player campaign reflects on this aspect by showing the struggles of both sides.
