Alexis Sanchez Arsenal star wants Chelsea move

Arsenal would be willing to sell Alexis Sanchez to Chelsea if they received an offer of around $82 million, according to former Arsenal star Paul Merson.

"I do not understand the anxiety".

Sanchez is said to see Antonio Conte as the type of manager who can deliver him medals, while the Italian is a fan, previously calling the Chilean a "top player". By then, though, we may see other top clubs arrive and stake a claim in the transfer battle to land Alexis Sanchez.

"I know just how Arsenal work so there isn't any way they'll let Sanchez leave for nothing if they are able to get £50m for him in the summer".

The Chilean's intense desire to win and be the best is what makes him such a good player for Arsenal but it's also what may drive him into the arms of the Champions elect.

The duo have begun negotiations with the player's camp but formal talks between clubs are likely to commence after the season ends. The likes of Robin van Persie, Samir Nasri, Emmanuel Adebayor and Cesc Fabregas all left the club and Sanchez could follow them.

'When I sign a contract, I commit until the last day of my contract.

51 - Arsenal have won the identical variety of points after 28 matches this season as they did in 2015/16, with the same record (W15 D6 L7).

If Arsenal chose to let him run down his contract next season, they would be taking a real gamble with him as they could lose him on a free transfer at the end of next season.

"There's about eight of the players with contracts running down and I find it extraordinary that they are in this situation".

The prospect of having Eden Hazard and Sanchez on either flank at Stamford Bridge will undoubtedly be a mouth-watering one for the Chelsea faithful.
