Browns preseason schedule includes Monday night game

The August 21 game will be nationally televised on Monday Night Football, giving the football world a first look at presumptive No. 1 overall pick Myles Garrett and the rest of the ample Browns rookie class.

The dates and times of the Browns' exhibition games will be announced later this month when then National Football League unveils the regular-season schedule.

Last season, the Saints had a all-AFC approach to their preseason schedule by taking on the Patriots, Texans, Steelers, and Ravens. The league is also expected to release the regular-season schedule this month.

The final two preseason games are familiar opponents for the Browns.

They'll host the New Orleans Saints and New York Giants before visiting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears in the preseason.

For the third straight year, the Browns' dress rehearsal game will come against the Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The Chargers lead the all-time preseason series 4-2.

The NFL Draft is still over two weeks away but that doesn't mean it is too early for Cleveland Browns fans to start getting excited about the 2017 season. It's the 14th consecutive year the Browns and Bears will conclude the preseason against one another.

In week 1 of the preseason, the Saints will travel to Cleveland.

Cleveland Browns 2017 season ticket deposits are now available.
