NDA to fight 2019 Lok Sabha polls under PM Modi's leadership

A meeting of BJP with its 32 allies set their sight on the 2019 Lok Sabha polls as they passed a resolution endorsing the Modi government's policies and called upon people vote him back to power in the next general election. The NDA meeting was attended by 33 parties including the Shiv Sena and Akali Dal, however, there was no discussion on the upcoming presidential or vice presidential elections.
Thackeray also praised the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh for farm loan waiver but insisted that the BJP dispensation in Maharashtra follow suit given the agrarian tragedy and hardship in the state.
Briefing media in after the meeting, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that the popularity of NDA is growing in the country.

While the previous Congress-led UPA government left behind a "corrupt and supine" governance structure, the Modi- led NDA government changed it and took every section of the society along as it worked on its development agenda, it said.
