Nougat hits Sprint Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge

The new interface is a more clean and polished version of Samsung's interface, and includes a number of new features and tweaks to make things faster, prettier, smoother, and more natural.

All four devices are now in the process of receiving updates to Android 7.0 Nougat, following in the footsteps of AT&T's Note5, for which the rollout commenced yesterday. To grab the update, simply head to your settings menu, then go into "About Device", and check for updates.

It does seem that the customer support is looking for as much information as possible concerning the issues which plague the Galaxy S7 after applying the Android 7.0 Nougat update. In fact, some of them felt like Samsung has insulted them by making them wait for the Nougat update despite the fact that the S7 is newer than the S6 and Note 5.

We know that the next version of Android is still months away, and the Galaxy S8 hasn't even officially hit store shelves yet. That means that you might not receive the update for a few days. The carrier has already updated the official pages for the two phones, confirming that the update is indeed rolling out.

Galaxy S6 Edge+: This big phone may not come with a pen, but at least it's coming with Nougat. Update number NRD90M with 1.4GB file size is for the Note 5 along with the carrier's OTA March 2017 Android security patches included, Android Authority reported. According to Verizon, the newest Air command lets you create GIFs and get instant translations with the S Pen. AT&T also notes that the updates will remove the AT&T Address Book, MobiTV, and AT&T Live apps.
