I know, I can't believe it took so long for the team from Boston to be a rumored destination for whatever big name free agent is now being discussed. However, this could just be a smokescreen attempt by Lynch to accelerate negotiations with the Raiders, who are his top choice. The Seahawks final play call was a Russell Wilson pass that everyone unanimously agreed should've been a hand off to the prolific Lynch. The last time the Raiders left Oakland, they didn't return for more than a decade.
The 30-year-old RB is a flawless fit for the Raiders since he's from Oakland and they need a running back after losing Latavius Murray to the Minnesota Vikings in free agency. They all now have Super Bowl rings.
As it now stands, the front offices of the Seahawks and Raiders still haven't revealed any negotiations in regard to the former Pro Bowl running back.
The Seahawks still hold Lynch's rights, but G.M. John Schneider has made it clear that they won't make his return elsewhere a complex process. Plus, with Derek Carr, 26, healthy, the Raiders could possibly compete for the National Football League championship, especially with Marshawn on the roster. But, the Raiders don't want to take on that salary and give up a pick to get him from Seattle.
Still, if there is anyone who could make a comeback, it would be the man who got an entire country to call him "Beast Mode".
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Seeking a deal in these new England Patriots rumors might lose in some core supporters.
