Local fans unleash the force for 'Star Wars' day

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be released on December 15. You be the judge. According to ABC News, the pun "May the Fourth be with you" was "first used back in 1979, with Britain's Conservative Party congratulating Margaret Thatcher in print for taking the prime minister post that day". "Congratulations, ' further proof of the extent to which Star Wars has influenced us all".

"You are about to become part of the phenomena of Star Wars", a dapper Hamill said in an unearthed clip.

But it would take another 32 years for Star Wars Day to become a celebration.

It's May 4th! Which means extra strong currents of Jedi good vibes are flowing through the universe, because it is Star Wars Day.

It seems likely that more Star Wars promotions will be happening today, but as far as things inside of our wheelhouse are concerned, these seem like the big ones right now. The Tonight Show joined in the fun by cutting Star Wars clips into a reasonable facsimile of "All Star", something we definitely don't need but now that it's out there, is completely necessary in our lives.

Since the release of the first Star Wars movie almost 40 years ago, the Star Wars saga has had a seismic impact on both cinema and culture, inspiring audiences around the world with its mythic storytelling, captivating characters, groundbreaking special effects, and iconic musical scores composed by Williams. It was a play on words for the infamous line, "May the Force be with You".
