Motorola Launches Moto Z2 Force

Verizon customers who preorder their Motorola Z2 Force Edition get it for United States dollars 15 per month for 24 months on Verizon device payment (USD 756 retail; 0 percent APR) when activated on Verizon Unlimited.

Lenovo brand Motorola has launched its flagship smartphone, the Moto Z2 Force.

The Moto Z2 Force had been anticipated to launch for quite a while, and that it did. What is disappointing is that the Z2 Force lacks a headphone jack while the thinner (!) Moto Z2 Play retains the iconic 3.5mm port. It will be available in Fine Gold, Lunar Grey (for T-Mobile only), and Super Black colour variants. The super-slim profile also restricted the company to a relatively undersized 2730mAh battery, and a water-repellent nano-coating has been added. The Moto Z2 Force measures 155.8x76x 6.1mm, and weighs 143 grams. Its screen supports a resolution of Quad HD or 2560×1440 pixels at a diagonal of 5.5 inches, and its processor is the Qualcomm top 835 with 8 cores and a powerful graphics subsystem. We don't know yet how much the Motorola Moto X4 will cost, unfortunately. As for the front camera, the Moto Z2 Force sports a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, 85-degree wide angle lens, and LED flash module. The dual SIM phone supports NFC, dual band Wi-Fi 802.11ac with MIMO, and Bluetooth 4.2. There will be an expensive variant of the phone also available with 6GB RAM and 128GB of Internal Storage capacity. With the new 360 Camera Moto Mod video can be edited and shared with live stream option.

Currently, the device is available in U.S. and will go on sale on August 10. Plus, the phone can be enhanced further with Moto Mods. Looking like a proper 360-degree camera, Motorola's camera is integrated into a plate which can be attached to any Moto Z smartphone.

These mods range from 360 camera to projector and from speaker to extra battery. On the front, the phone has a 5 MP front-facing camera. The release date in India has not been specified and it is likely that the phone may not launch in India at all as the company stayed away from the Force variant past year. The device is available starting from 25 July with 24-month finance agreements on both devices.
