Corinne Olympios Speaks Out in Defense of DeMario Jackson Over BIP Scandal

Corinne appeared to be extremely nervous during her sit-down with Chris Harrison.

By then, "I was a victim of just being blown into the media and having people make these insane assumptions and judgments about what happened that day", Olympios said on "GMA". The combination of the two is just not a good combination.

Olympios did not specify what the medication was, but did say she was now "weaning" herself off of it after the negative effects it had on her body and mind.

Did you expect Olympios to apologize to Jackson?

Yes, DeMario could have backed away knowing Corinne was really drunk.

"I am doing a lot better", Olympios said Tuesday night.

"Before I even had a chance to gather my thoughts and collect myself and talk to him or talk to anybody, he kind of just went for it and was so on the defense", she said of Jackson "running" to the media initially.

"I was a victim of, you know, just being blown into the media and having people make these insane, you know, assumptions and judgments about what happened that day".

At the end of the interview, Olympios blamed "the media" for the situation, saying, "I really want people to know, I don't blame DeMario".

No news on why she went on a dating show if she was in a relationship. I'm not the one pointing fingers at DeMario, I never said a bad word about DeMario. "I can't help but feel like maybe he felt like I thought that he did something to me".

The Miami native claims that she was blacked-out during the sequence of events that led to the show being shut down for almost two weeks, thanks to a bad combination of prescription medication and alcohol. "There is no way for you guys to know, like, 'She's mentally checked out. It's so heart-sinking to go through that", Corinne said of dealing with the media attention. "I was never mad at you or blaming you for anything". "But I was also on a medication that severely blacks you out and impairs your judgment and, you know, messes with you that I didn't know you were supposed to not drink on".

Last week, DeMario had his in-studio interview with Chris Harrison.

Corinne was slut-shamed and accused of throwing DeMario under the bus during the scandal this summer.

Warner Bros. initiated an investigation of the alleged misconduct, all the contestants were sent home, and Olympios and Jackson both retained legal counsel. DeMario said in his interview that everything seemed fine, and that he and Corinne spoke the next day on normal terms.

Bachelor in Paradise airs Mondays and Tuesdays at on ABC.

As we previously stated, we recently became aware of allegations regarding an incident on the set of Bachelor in Paradise in Mexico. "Once the investigation is complete, we will take appropriate responsive action".

However, the stigma will stay with him since all of this sexual misconduct headlines are embedded in Google's history.
