The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P20 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. For the additional storage seekers, the device does offer an SD card slot with up to 256 GB expandability. The smaller battery is a major downgrade and with the dimensions of the two virtually identical, it looks like the decision was taken to accommodate the dual cameras. Till now we were taking Samsung SM-C7100 as Samsung Galaxy C7 (2017) smartphone.
Next discussion must be the Camera because the device is the Second smartphone from Samsung to have a dual camera setup. On the front of the handset there is a 16 megapixel camera for video calls and Selfies. On the front of the device, the J7+ boasts of a 5.5-inch display which is similar to what we have seen in the J7 (2017) and J7 Pro. Talking about its software front, the Galaxy J7+ runs on Google's Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system with company's TouchWiz custom UI skin running on top. However, it's no longer the only one, as the company has quietly unveiled the Galaxy J7 Plus in Thailand. The combination of 5 MP camera with F/1.9 aperture does help to capture portrait images ( images with varied depth of field). It packs a 3,000 mAh battery with fast charging support. Moving back to the dual camera setup, the 13 MP sensor sports a wide f/1.7 aperture while the 5 MP sensor comes with a f/1.9 aperture. The volume buttons are on the left edge, while the power button is on the right edge of the smartphone.
As of now, there is no word from the company about the Samsung Galaxy J7 Plus launch in India. The smartphone is expected to go on sale starting September 18, but only in Thailand.
