Xiaomi Mi Mix 2- One Week To The Debut!

Xiaomi also released a couple of teaser images for the Mi Mix 2, which are hilariously depicting the phone as being almost invisible when turning on the camera. The listing further reveals that the smartphone will flaunt a 6.2-inch display with a 2960×1440 pixels resolution. The former is easy to accept since the Mi 6 already features 6GB of RAM. It will also work just fine on the Mi Mix 2. Recently a leak suggested that Mi Mix 2 could feature the unannounced Snapdragon 836 processor. The image was posted on the Chinese social networking website Weibo. Now if a report coming straight from China is to be believed, Xiaomi is said to be working on its successor dubbed as Xiaomi Mi 7.

GSM Arena was able to receive a live image of the handset and in the image, the phone shows that it features a true tri bezel-less display which completely omits the top, left and right bezels of the smartphone with just a small chin appearing below the display. We can predict therefore that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will follow in its older sibling's stylish footsteps. Other high-end smartphones which are expected to announced during that period of time include the Samsung Galaxy S9 and LG G7. Out sooner, and no doubt for a fraction of the price, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 looks like a very viable option if you're in the market for a new smartphone. This is another hint that Xiaomi might be planning to introduce a full-screen bezel-less display. As per BGR report, the image leak goes well with what company's CEO Lei Jun confirmed earlier this year about the design of the second-generation bezel-less "beauty". The device will offer dual rear camera setup with portrait mode and X2 optical zoom. The Mix 2 is expected to pack up to 8GB of RAM. The long-awaited chipset is also tipped to be found inside the Google Pixel 2, which we're expecting to see an official launch on October 2. The flagship phone is going to expose all the remaining details on 11 September.
