The cameras of the two phones have been ranked the best - well ahead of the iPhone 8 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 8, the closest rivals. The Pixel 2 phones crank up the speed with the use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, the same processor that lives inside the Samsung Galaxy S8. In September, it was announced that the iPhone 8 has the best smartphone camera in the world. Now Google is implementing another Pixel exclusive (at least, for now) feature, though it may prove to be more annoying even if you can switch it off. Google is implementing an automatic do not disturb mode when you are in a auto and it will be added to the Pixel Ambient Services app. Now, the Google Pixel 2 has claimed top spot, once again returning an Android phone to the top position in the DxOMark rankings.
The Pixel 2 will cost you Rs. 61,000 / Rs. 70,000 for 64GB/128GB repectively and the Pixel 2 XL will cost you Rs. 73,000 / Rs. 82,000 for 64GB/128GB respectively. It's also selling customers a dongle made by Moshi that allows you to listen to music and charge your phone over the single USB-C port.
Google's result is phenomenal given its different approach but it's also a sign of larger things to come as far as consumer gadgets are concerned. Google wants to show the wonderful video stabilization of Pixel 2. If you have a Google phone and the buds, you could travel all throughout Europe and never need a translator or a dictionary. The update is rolling out on the Google Play Store, so we suggest you wait for a while. Considering Google's new direction, we are expecting to see more exclusive services and features for the Google hardware.
For most people, 64 GB of built-in storage is plenty, but Google offers the option to double that. It's a built-in object recognition tool. You can also decide to go wireless and use the Pixel Buds over Bluetooth, but the exact Indian pricing details for these headphones are not known yet. The Pixel 2 comes with a 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display while the Pixel 2 XL boasts a 6-inch Quad HD P-OLED display.
It was leaked before the event, but Google now has a rival to Amazon's own Echo Dot smart speaker. You don't have to pick up your phone or unlock it to see notifications.
The internal storage for Pixel 2 XL is smaller, coming in two versions: 64GB and 128GB, while the iPhone X has either a version with 64GB or one with 256GB. It works pretty much like Shazam, except that you'll not have to open an app.
