After several options were discussed, the company made a decision to go with having Kurt Angle wrestle as Roman Reigns' replacement and AJ Styles appear on a RAW PPV against Finn Balor. Also, seeing how it's a TLC match let's hope everyone is able to stay safe because Raw has enough people out of action already.
Angle was released 11 years ago due to health reasons and returned to the business in April where he was inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame and is now the RAW General Manager.
The Shield reunion being pushed back obviously changes future plans and I'm hearing Kurt Angle being cleared means it's very possible he wrestles at one of the big 4 events now. Alexa Bliss defends her championship against former champion Mickie James. They announced that AJ Styles would fill in for Bray against Finn Balor, while Kurt Angle will take Reigns' place and team up with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. Former NXT Women's Champion Asuka makes her long-awaited main roster debut against Emma, and on the pre-show, Alicia Fox faces former champion, Sasha Banks.
As a result, two of them - Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt - have been pulled from this weekend's "TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs" PPV.
Although Balor vs. Styles is an incredibly hard bout to predict due to the vast wrestling ability and fanbase that both superstars have, here are three reasons why Balor should win at WWE TLC 2017.
Rounding out the TLC card, Cruiserweight Champion Kalisto defeated Enzo Amore in a lumberjack match to win the title in the weeks leading up to TLC.
