Lowcountry forecast: Weather service warns of ocean dangers and flooding

The average high temperatures for the Harrisburg area this time of year is 69, the average low is 49, according to the National Weather Service.

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly before 1 p.m.

Forecasters said Tuesday's high should be close to 80 once again, which is 15 degrees above normal for Madison in early October. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
