Pence dodges on Trump's 'calm before the storm' remark

Thursday night, the us president has launched a note of enigmatic saying that the present moment could be " the calm before the storm ", without giving further explanations.

"Should we just ignore what the president says?" With his hand in that looping motion, he asks, "Do you know what this represents?"

Donald Trump has also been tweeting up a storm this evening about North Korea.

Both Iran and the US are working to defeat the Islamic State group (ISIS) in Iraq and Syria, but the USA role is limited to special forces on the ground and a coalition of air forces bombing the radical Islamist group.

After being continuously pressed to clarify his comments, Trump later told reporters, "You'll find out".

Asked if Trump was referring to military action, Sanders hedged, "As we've said many times before. we're never going to say in advance what the president is going to do".

Mr Trump's ominous comments come during a time of strained relations between the United States and two countries, Iran and North Korea.
