David Cassidy, "Partridge Family" actor and 70s heartthrob, has been hospitalized and is "surrounded by family", his representative told The Associated Press.
The 67-year-old American actor and singer was reportedly rushed to hospital in Florida three days ago, after suffering from organ failure in his liver and kidneys.
In February, Cassidy announced he has dementia, something both his mother and grandfather battled.
David Cassidy is in hospital in an induced coma in critical condition, according to reports.
The singer toured the world singing his hit songs, such as "I Think I Love You", filling concert halls with screaming teenage girls. We're told he's suffering from organ failure and unless he gets a liver transplant soon he could soon die. His rep told The News he was admitted to the hospital "either Wednesday or Thursday" for being "very ill".
Cassidy starred in the beloved "Partridge" series from 1970-1974, and the role made him a popular teen idol.
