Bayonetta 3 for Nintendo Switch Revealed at The Game Awards 2017

The critically acclaimed Bayonetta 2 game, originally a Wii U exclusive, will be launching for Nintendo Switch on February 16.

Bayonetta 3 is real.

The good news is that the first two Bayonetta games are coming to Nintendo Switch next year. If you skipped the Wii U but jumped on board for the Switch, then you'll be able to catch up on one of the best series now in Nintendo's roster. That was further evidenced with Bayonetta being the final character to make her way into the fourth iteration of Super Smash Bros.

But it seems like both Platinum Games and Nintendo are invested in making Bayonetta a success, and the third time might be the charm. Nintendo, in a surprise move, scooped up the series as a Wii U exclusive a few years later, taking publishing duties away from Sega and developing the sequel exclusively for its hardware. Metroid Prime 4 similarly shocked fans when it was unveiled not long ago with a brief teaser.

Video game stories from other sites on the web. However, in order to help the struggling Wii U, Nintendo joined forces with Platinum Games to bring Bayonetta 2 to life. Players will be able to take the games on the go from February 16, 2018. Along with the game, it appears Japan will also be receiving a special bundle of the port - the "Non-Stop Climax Edition".

Bayonetta 3 is still in development, but we will have more updates about the game as more information begins to surface and it comes closer to release.
