Netflix Surprises with Second Dave Chappelle Netflix Special Announcement

Chappelle holds court in a special homecoming performance filmed in front of a packed house at the historic Warner Theater in Washington D.C. In "Dave Chappelle: Equanimity", the comedian hilariously revels in taking on culture and class, politics and the specter of getting old.

31, Chappelle will have released four specials on Netflix since his explosive return to comedy when he hosted the first episode of Saturday Night Live to air after the 2016 presidential election.

If you time it just right, you can hit play and have Chappelle coax you into the new year with a fresh punchline.

Chappelle has enjoyed an incredibly fruitful relationship with Netflix, releasing two stand-up specials with the platform earlier this year.

If you're a very big Dave Chappelle fan you are probably already planning to spend New Year's Eve watching his brand new Netflix special debut and now you can keep the party going because starting at 9am on New Years Day, Comedy Central is planning to air all 28 Chappelle Show Episodes, back to back, culminating with Dave's groundbreaking and first hour special, Killin' Them Softly, scheduled to run at midnight on New Years Day.

We can all agree that 2017 was a lot. "And I've never seen so many of them up close", Chappelle said about some of 45's supporters.

"I've never had a problem with white people ever in my life, but full disclosure, the poor whites are my least favorites", he says.

Chappelle earned $60 million in his deal with Netflix.

Dave Chappelle isn't the type of person to keep quiet when it comes to controversial issues.

"You dumb motherf-er!" Chappelle says, "he's fighting for me!" Titled "Equanimity", the show is slated to premiere on Netflix on New Year's Eve. What do you think about his change of opinion regarding Trump?
