OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition to cost ₹38999

OnePlus had introduced the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition smartphone yesterday in India, and if you're interested in checking out the wallpapers that are pre-installed on that phone, well, you're in luck. On the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition, it's been applied on top of the phone's aluminium unibody, making the phone one of the few metal models that doesn't slip through your fingers.

Recently, OnePlus also gave away 10,000 complimentary tickets to its fans for the movie - Star Wars: The Last Jedi, as part of its anniversary celebrations. Well, the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition comes with a white back, as you can see in the provided image, and even though most people thought that only the color will be different here, well, that's not true.

OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition officially announced, the phone will be available from 15th December via Amazon and OnePlus experience stores. If you want to download the images to your device, one post containing a link to Mega still continues to work.

Last month when OnePlus 5T got launched in India it was later on updated with OxygenOS 4.7.4, thereby improving the camera and other system of the device.

Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa-core processor with up to 2.45 GHz clock speed.

The limited edition phone's design has been inspired by planet "Crait" from the movie. This is ordinarily a dark theme that turns the background black with white text, but comes with special red accents for certain elements of the UI.

While Brits, Europeans and our cousins across the pond are likely to miss out, OnePlus 5T owners can still add the force to their phone in one particular way.

Apart from the design and colour changes, rest of the specifications and features of the special edition remain same as OnePlus 5T. It's a rough white finish with the OnePlus logo beneath the fingerprint sensor in metallic black and the Star Wars emblem in red outline. The phone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box and will upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo in the coming year.

To put it simply - there is no point buying the Star Wars edition OnePlus 5T just for the sake of it - you are better off saving five thousand rupees and investing them elsewhere. The mobile has ten preloaded official Star Wars wallpapers. As such, we've got access to said wallpapers, and any device - Android or no - can have access right this minute. It features a dual-camera setup with 16MP + 20MP sensors with f/1.7 aperture.
