Russia, India, China foreign ministers meet concludes in New Delhi

The President also congratulated Yi on the successful conclusion of the 19th Congress of the Communist Party of China and stated that India looked forward to work with President Xi Jinping and the Chinese leadership and take their developmental partnership to greater heights. "Next year we will welcome young diplomats from China and Russian Federation to India".

Foreign ministers of Russia, India and China meeting in New Delhi have called for effective implementation of existing worldwide commitments to counter terrorism even as they condemned terrorism in all forms and manifestations. In this regard, China, Russia and India, as three fast developing emerging market countries, should play active roles amid a changing global structure, he said.
The three countries also said those committing, organising, inciting or supporting terrorist acts must be held accountable and brought to justice.
The tripartite cooperation should focus on strategic communication and coordination and speak in one voice on major worldwide and regional issues which would help push for a fair and equitable global order, as well as safeguard the legitimate interests of emerging market countries and all the developing countries, he said.
"Noting the significant increase of opium poppy production in Afghanistan and the nexus between narcotics revenue and its financial support for terrorism, we emphasise the need for stepping up result-oriented worldwide efforts aimed at countering the Afghan drug threat", the statement said.
Both the LeT and the JeM are UN-proscribed terror outfits.
This is was her third RIC meeting as External Affairs Minister. "We condemn all forms of terrorism and all terrorists, terror entities and organizations listed by the UN Security Council", they said.
