Donald Trump, Expected To Attend CFP Title Game, Continues NFL Criticism

Several local government entities have announced altered open hours and meeting times due to the January 8 College Football Playoff National Championship at Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium. First lady Melania Trump is also expected to be in attendance.

According to Bluestein, he will be hosted by Nick Ayers, who is Vice President Mike Pence's Chief Of Staff.

Trump carried both Georgia and Alabama in the 2016 presidential election, although Alabama recently elected Democrat Doug Jones into the U.S. Senate over Republican Roy Moore, whom the president had endorsed.

On Tuesday, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders opened the daily briefing by offering Trump's congratulations to the two teams for their semifinal victories.

Donald Trump may have an ongoing vendetta against the NFL, but he'll still get his football fix in Monday.
