Egypt FA chief confirms Real will make summer bid for Salah

Salah, who started his career in Europe at Basel, joined Liverpool from Serie A side AS Roma for a whopping fee of €40 million.

The Daily Mail have reported that Real Madrid will be looking to sign Liverpool star Mohamed Salah next summer.

"The Spanish club will make a big, big offer in summer and Salah is now looking to improve his game, so it would make sense".

The latest indication comes from Abou-Rida who claimed Madrid would make an offer for the 25-year-old which if taken, would be a huge positive for Egyptian football.

United have always been linked with a big-money move for the Wales global and are understood to still be interested in bringing Bale back to the Premier League once he leaves Madrid.

Egypt national manager Hector Cuper also spoke about the possibility of a move for Salah to Real this summer, saying: "I've received news revealing Real's interest but let's not rush things".

"Real Madrid will make an offer for Salah during the summer".

"Salah is now looking to improve his game".

"I think he's one of the best players in the world now".

After the game, Bale was asked by members of the media whether or not Neymar and Paris Saint-Germain have been giving him and his teammates sleepless nights in the buildup to their UEFA Champions League tie in a few weeks' time.

Jurgen Klopp considers Salah as an indispensable first-team player, especially after the loss of Philippe Coutinho.
