Ranger Rover SV Coupe teaser previews super-luxe SUV

Land Rover has yet to reveal any exterior images, but according to auto magazine, insiders say the biggest difference between the SV Coupe and the regular Range Rover will be "visible from the side silhouette".

For Land Rover's 70th anniversary year, the company has teased the interiors of the upcoming Limited Edition Range Rover SV Coupe.

Land Rover on Wednesday announced that the Limited Edition Range Rover SV Coupe will make its worldwide debut at the Geneva global Motor Show - scheduled to be held between March 8 and 18.

Speaking about the new SUV coupe John Edwards, Land Rover Special Operations Managing Director, said that in launching the new Range Rover SV Coupé, the British marque will offer clients a combination of luxury and rarity.

However, an image of the interior shows an opulent cabin with premium leather upholstery, wood trim, and a full-length center console.

Land Rover now offers a three-door version of the Range Rover Evoque compact crossover, while most other manufacturers have dropped three-door models.

SVO promises gorgeous, expressive exterior styling for the SV Coupe, and we expect similarly superlative powertrain options befitting a special product.

Jaguar-Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations will be building each Range Rover SV Coupe. As such, it will be hand-assembled at the SV Technical Centre in Ryton-on-Dunsmore in the United Kingdom.

Little else is known about the new model, though it is expected to borrow most of its key components and aluminium construction from the current Range Rover flagship range, with a special focus on bespoke interior treatments as part of its hand-built lure.

The vehicle will be unveiled on 6 March 2018 at the Swiss motor show.
