As the Xplay series is Vivo's premium range, the smartphone in question is also said to feature a 4K display and twin camera setup courtesy of Sony's IMX sensors.
If this happens, the device dubbed as "Vivo Xplay 7" will be the first ever smartphone to be powered by 10GB of RAM. In the camera department, Vivo's rumored flagship will apparently feature two Sony Exmor RS sensors, and an impressive 4x optical zoom capability. If these rumours are believed to be true, then this smartphone will be one of the world's first to feature 10GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Now, it seems that it is working on a smartphone with 10GB RAM. This sensor only works with OLED displays because it doesn't need backlighting as is the case with having LCD displays. Apart from this, the Xplay 7 will feature a 4K OLED display with an edge-to-edge display on the front giving it a 92.9% screen-to-body ratio. Moving on to its hardware specifications, the flagship is said to pack a Snapdragon 845 mobile processor coupled with either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. Smartphones like OnePlus 5/5T and ASUS ZenFone AR come with 8 GB of RAM. Being packed with such a huge set of specifications, the new Vivo Xplay 7 smartphone could be the most expensive Vivo smartphone till date.
Keeping the phone ticking will be a 4,000mAh battery. Additionally, the phone is also expected to come with company's own Facial Recognition technology on the Xplay 7 smartphone. This phone also sports in-screen fingerprint scanner similar to X20 Plus model.
The new Vivo Xplay 7 smartphone to come with Face Unlock 2.0 version. The phone might be shipped with Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box. Vivo X20 is the most successful smartphone line-up from the company which has a number of variants.
