Justin Theroux cancels Late Show appearance after news of Jennifer Aniston split

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux surprised their fans with a joint letter announcing that they have been separated since late previous year.

"Jennifer is more comfortable in Los Angeles with her close-knit group of friends", said a source, adding, "But Justin doesn't feel as at home in LA, nor with Jennifer's friends, he loves NY, and the edgier crowd in the city".

A source told US Weekly, "When Justin was in Los Angeles and staying with Jen, he would typically spend most of his time in the guest house of the mansion".

But Aniston did. "Constant scrutiny of Jen's personal life, including whether she would ever find her happily ever after, played a huge role in her marriage to Justin", the source revealed to a media porta;.

Aniston celebrated her birthday with a party last weekend with Theroux nowhere to be seen.

The recent marriage split between Jennifer Aniston and Justin Therox has shocked fans, leading many to wonder what led the two to throw in the towel. They said it was a decision that "was mutual and lovingly made at the end of past year".

Last Thursday a statement announcing the end of their relationship was released by Aniston's publicist.

The couple announced their split in a joint statement.

As for why Theroux was so late to cancel his Late Show appearance, the source claims that had he preemptively backed out of the interview before he and Aniston announced their breakup, that would have just added more fodder to the rumor mill.

Jennifer and Justin were last photographed together on 1 January as they enjoyed the sunshine in Cabo San Lucas with the actress' Horrible Bosses co-star Jason Bateman and his wife Amanda Anka.

Aniston and Theroux shocked fans on February 15 when announced their split.

The famous pair split their time between NY and Los Angeles, but their different lifestyles were also said to be a big factor in their break up.

After spending the big day with friends, Aniston was reportedly in attendance at Amy Schumer's surprise wedding to chef Chris Fischer in Malibu on Tuesday. "In order for Jen and Brad to move forward, they would need to be honest and figure out what went wrong in her marriage", she explains.

According to friends of the couple, Jennifer and Justin simply could not cope with a long distance relationship.

Getting married "never seemed that important" to them, says the source.
