As per the leaked images by the letemsvetemapplem.eu, website, the mobile handset looks like the iPhone SE and there are some touches of the glossy back panel. MacRumors tracked a variety of sources that are discussing the rumored iPhone SE update, including Mac Otakara, Economic Daily News, and the Chinese social network Sina Weibo (which posted a sketchy video that apparently depicts a second generation iPhone SE).
Apple Insider suggested the SE 2 will be unveiled in May or June this year, with a follow up to the flagship iPhone X unleased in September. The same rumors also claimed that the new iPhone SE won't feature a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Apple iPhone 8 RED and iPhone 8 Plus in RED are now available for sale in India. An updated iPhone SE 2 would be expected to continue to perform well for users looking for a smaller device, as well as users on a tighter budget that want to use an iPhone. Both the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus feature the same 64-bit A11 Bionic chip with a Neural engine and an Embedded M11 motion coprocessor as the regular variants.
Furthermore, the back looks familiar with the latest generation of United States iPhones as it only includes the text "iPhone" and misses out the regulatory FCC logos. The iPhone 8 has a 4.7-inch Retina HD display and sports a 12MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture.
Apple ordered too many iPhone X units in the Christmas quarter of 2017, when iPhone X sales were booming, according to FastCompany, and it's now looking to "burn off" the inventory that piled up at resellers. Apple sells its product with the (PRODUCT) RED moniker as a part of its partnership with (PRODUCT) RED advocacy group that works against the spread of HIV/AIDS. That's a pretty bold move, since most entry-level phones have kept their headphone jack, but it does line up with the direction Apple has been moving in recently.
Apple iPhone SE 2 price: How much will the iPhone SE 2 cost? All are thought to have similar designs to the iPhone X: edge-to-edge display and a notch. However, the phone appears to have a glossy back that suggests the rear panel is made of glass instead of metal.
