Just like what happened before, the organizers did not specify who among the stars of "Infinity War" will be making an appearance at this year's fan event. On Tuesday, the brothers shared a written letter on Twitter asking us to please keep mum after we see the movie. Check out the full text of the letter. We're expecting multiple deaths, and it's probably for that very reason we have yet to learn the Infinity War sequel title. They're talking about months.
Actor Robert Downey Jr., who plays Tony Stark/Iron Man in the film, retweeted the note, adding his own request for fans to keep the movie's secrets.
Of course, that does make a few alarms go off. The directors literally had to give us a warning weeks in advance before we see the movie. I'm not saying they'll sic Thanos on you, but they sound pretty serious. Certainly, Thanos is meaningful to longtime Marvel comics fans in bringing yet another momentous element of the comics they love to the big screen, and he'll have a massive effect on characters we do care about, but is anyone actually invested in him, personally, as a character? In addition to very few preview screenings, the film is also getting released in U.S.at the same time as the U.K. It was originally scheduled to open in many overseas markets on April 27 while the USA would have to wait until May 4.
"Everyone involved with the film has worked incredibly hard for the past two years maintaining the highest level of secrecy", the letter reads.
"Only a handful of people know the film's true plot", the Thanos notice teases.
Avengers: Infinity War releases this summer and it will have nearly all Marvel superheroes (seriously, where is Hawkeye?) coming together to fight against Thanos and the Black Order. Meanwhile, the other known Marvel spoiler, Tom Holland, cheekily tweeted, "This letter was originally addressed to me".
Good luck and happy viewing. Now, it's looking like OnePlus wants to top that with one of 2018's biggest films, Avengers: Infinity War.
