Half an eye on Europe as Real Madrid travel to Malaga

Zinedine Zidane is furious at the "shameful" way Juventus talked about Real Madrid after the Champions League quarter-final.

The Frenchman said he took the decision because he wanted "more energy".

The winger has been on United's radar since back in his days at Tottenham Hotspur, but were left disappointed when he made the world record move to Real Madrid in 2013.

"Everyone has their own opinion on whether it was a penalty or not, I'm not going to discuss that, but I'm angry that people are talking of a robbery".

"I'm furious about that".

Los Blancos sealed semi-final qualification with a stoppage-time penalty against Juventus on Wednesday, with Cristiano Ronaldo stepping up to convert after Lucas Vazquez was bundled over in the box.

"Since I've been here there's always been a bad performance in this competition and I always believed we would come through", Carvajal said. If you work so hard to get to a stage in your career where you are seen as one of the better players and you are playing for one of the biggest clubs, that's not somewhere where you want to leave, I would imagine. We deserved to qualify, without any doubt.

Real are fourth in the Liga standings and could be 18 points behind runaway leaders Barcelona by the time they play against Malaga. "We did very well and we're in the semi-finals".

But they are pursuing a 13th European Cup, which would make them the first team to win the trophy three years in a row since Bayern Munich between 1974 and 1976. "We just keep on doing what we do".
