Liverpool's Salah wins Uefa Champions League Player of the Week award

Liverpool's Mohamed Salah has assured club manager Juergen Klopp he's "all fine, all good" after picking up an injury during the club's UEFA Champions League clash with Manchester City on Wednesday. I don't even think our supporters would want us to do that.

"I can not make Mo available just because it is a derby", said Klopp.

Salah only secured a move to Liverpool last summer, but the Egyptian worldwide has enjoyed a stunning first campaign at Anfield with 37 goals being scored in 42 appearances in all competitions. So, we immediately took him off the pitch.

Liverpool will defend their three-goal advantage against City in the return leg at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday.

"I can not make Mo available because it is the derby".

We await to see if he is indeed fit for the Merseyside derby against Everton.

"If he is a doubt, he will not be involved".

"As always, [we were] in close talks with the medical department [to find out] who is 100 per cent".

Manchester United have reportedly identified Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah as a possible transfer target for the summer.

"Firmino's out; [he] played a lot of games for us obviously, we have two fresh strikers there, so that makes sense to make that change".

"You have the use the next generation, they are there, really talented boys, and I'm always ready for using them but in the right games in the right moment".

"Nothing good without a little bit of bad since I'm here", lamented Klopp.

"We have to consider pretty much everything but we need to have a line-up to give us an opportunity to win the game and that is what we will try".
