'13 Reasons Why' Season 2 Premiere Date: Netflix Announces the Return

Netflix has announced that the second season of its 13 Reasons Why TV show will premiere in May.

Some believe that they might signify the premiere date for the next installment of 13 Reasons Why. The official announcement was made on the show's official Twitter account with the caption "The tapes were just the beginning".

The new teaser, shot with Matrix-style cameras that capture moments frozen in time, runs through the list of characters we're most eager to revisit from Clay (Dylan Minette) to Jessica (Alisha Boe) to Bryce (Justin Prentice).

Social media sleuths were quick to note that there was a numeric code stamp on one of the Polaroid shots - which commenced a full-on investigation.

The brief 15-second-long silent teaser shows little more than a single photo being developed, revealing and image of Hannah Baker's face, followed by another photo that falls on top of it which has a piece of tape on it reading "the truth is developing". But, according to Netflix, "A series of ominous Polaroids lead Clay and his classmates to uncover a sickening secret and a conspiracy to cover it up".

The wait is over, we finally know when 13 Reasons Why season 2 will be released on Netflix and it's less than three weeks away. The website 13reasonswhy.info includes a crisis text line, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, a discussion guide, and links to other resources.
