Canada's Trudeau calls for inquiry into Gaza deaths

Israeli soldiers killed dozens of Palestinians who protested in the Gaza Strip while the embassy opened.
The Iranian envoy, who was addressing a UNSC open debate titled "Upholding International Law Within the Context of the Maintenance of International Peace and Security", said Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu basically "ridiculed" international law by moving the U.S. diplomatic mission to Jerusalem al-Quds earlier this week.

The death toll led to global condemnations of Israel and calls for an independent investigation.

It says those approaching the fence have used explosive devices and firebombs, while soldiers have been shot at.
