'PUBG Mobile's' Latest Update Adds Miramar Map and More

This map not only offers new areas to explore, but new weapons and vehicles, too.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Mobile update 0.5.0 is now out in the wild, bringing with it the battle royale title's desert-themed Miramar map. You can choose from "More than 50′, '25-50", or fewer than 25 for the most hectic streams.

"PUBG Mobile" gained more than 22 million iOS players shortly after launch, SuperData said. The majority of "PUBG Mobile's" revenue so far (about 48%) comes from the U.S. Rounding out the remainder of its top five countries for revenue are Thailand (7%), Great Britain (5%), Canada (4%), and Russian Federation (3%). New missions open up as you progress through levels and continually play PUBG Mobile, though activity missions show up on a weekly basis. Basically, it's a way to earn stuff instead of spending real money. This lets players easily join a party of friends sitting next to them, just by using a quick 6-digit code.

See you out there!

That's right, Twitch will now let you search for gameplay streams of PUBG based on the number of players that are left alive in the match. You'll find tons of new clothing, special clothing or items to buy for your character, and other add-ons.

Finally, PUBG Corp. and Tencent have rolled out a new selection of avatars, as well as a shop where players can purchase new outfits and items. You can head over to Reddit for a full list and changelog.

The game's sounds are also optimised, with climbing, parachuting, and various other effects all improved.
