Halow Infinite Announced, is Master Chief's Grandest Adventure Yet

Microsoft kicked off their annual E3 press conference with a bang by revealing a cinematic trailer for 343 Industries' Halo Infinite.

"With Halo Infinite we will join Master Chief on his greatest adenture yet to save humanity", said Xbox chief Phil Spencer. The original Halo released as a launch title for the original Xbox in 2001. The E3 demo showcases some of the exciting potential of this technology - everything you see is running in-engine.

We will keep this story updated as more details come. The variety of environments (many wide, open landscapes and expansive vistas) suggests something more open-world in design than the standard Halo games. We are taking the time we need to make the right game and are making changes to how we approach things this time around.

In a blog post, 343 Industries revealed that the game is still in very early stages of development. "We will have some new and unexpected directions to take folks in and I believe the way we achieve that is to build alongside our community, iterating and improving as we go".

We don't get much in this trailer but it does feature the infamous Master Chief, a handful of soldiers, and a stampede of rhino-like animals all on a vibrant and bustling Halo.
