Demi Lovato: Singer recovering in hospital

A rep for Lovato said the singer was "awake and with her family" Tuesday, and that she and her family "want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support".
The singer was rushed to hospital yesterday..
"She is a sweet, kind person, who has in my personal experience always shown love to everyone in my world", Joan wrote.
In addition, another source has apparently told PEOPLE that Wilmer was Demi's "rock" in hard times and he has been left heartbroken with the news of her overdose.
Lovato's friends and fans have taken to their social networking sites to wish her well after the heartbreaking news of her overdose came to light on Tuesday.
She's now on tour and was scheduled to perform in New Jersey this week. A year ago the "Sorry Not Sorry" singer was honored with the Spirit of Sobriety Award during the annual Brent Shapiro Foundation for Drug Prevention Summer Spectacular.
"I just said we love you, 'cause it's heartbreaking for her, but also her whole team and her family and everyone around her", the singer said of her reaction to Tuesday's news.
They alleged Demi was out Monday night celebrating a friend's birthday in West Hollywood and appeared "happy" in shots reportedly posted to her private Instagram.

A Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman confirmed to AFP that emergency responders transported a 25-year-old woman from an address that matches Lovato's to a hospital, but did not identify her by name or state her condition. "They'll tell me, 'You helped me get through this". Recently she released a single titled "Sober", hinting that she had relapsed. The stars dated for six years. "And I'm sorry for the fans I lost who watched me fall again/I wanna be a role model, but I'm only human".
She tweeted the song with a link saying, "My truth".
"I can't imagine what Demi is going through right now".
