Road Trip Hidden Battle Star #1 - Fortnite Season 5 Week 1 Challenges

Speaking of cosmetics, there's an all-new Battle Pass featuring 100 tiers of goodies to unlock.

And you can make your way to them in the new ATK, Fortnite's second vehicle, which has enough space for your whole squad. Fans can check out Epic Games' full patch notes for season 5 online.

The map held by Rex in the loading screen shows that the Battle Star can be found in the "quarry" between Pleasant Park and Lazy Links (formerly Anarchy Acres), with the exact location able to be viewed below in the orange circle.

Fortnite Season 5 will be available to play today on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. The ATK can fit the entire squad, has the ability to attain speed boosts, and the roof can be used as a jump pad.

"Worlds collide in Season 5!" the official Fortnite Twitter page tweeted.

This Season features new changes to the map like a Viking ship, a desert outpost, and ancient statues! The rear passengers can even work together with the driver to jump over obstacles on the map by leaning back and then releasing at the same time for a higher jump.

The new Battle Pass also launches with Season 5, and as ever it can only be purchased in-game and costs 950 V-Bucks. This should make it a little bit more challenging for players who prefer to camp as the Storm closes in. Other un-named POI have also been added to the island. This should provide players with more information on why their point blank hits are only registering small damages.

The patch notes details a lot of tweaks that have been made to the game such as adjusted.shotgun spread patterns, heavy shotguns now firing 10 pellets instead of 5 along with bug fixes. You can read about all of these and more over on Epic's site.

Another change is how players are able to earn extra XP when playing big team modes.

Auto-fire has also been added as an option in the iOS game - you can toggle it on and off in the settings menu.
