I promise you I will do this.
'Jon Tester showed his true colors with his shameful, dishonest attacks on a great man, a friend of mine, a man that I said: "Why don't you run the VA, you'd be great".
In the midterm elections this fall, Republican candidate Matt Rosendale hopes to unseat incumbent Democrat Sen.
In a move that was, like so much of his rhetoric, both disturbing and completely unsurprising, on Thursday night President Trump mocked the #MeToo movement, revived his "Pocahontas" insult against Senator Elizabeth Warren, and imagined throwing a DNA test at her and challenging her prove she's Native American.
Early on in the speech, Trump delivered a sweeping rebuke of Tester, arguing that while the senator tells Montana voters that he stands with the President on certain issues, he doesn't when it matters.
Appearing in a state he won by roughly 20 points in 2016, Trump cast Tester as a liberal Democrat, railing against his voting record on issues like abortion, immigration and taxes. "You deserve a senator who actually votes like he's from Montana", told the crowd after criticizing Tester at length. As the ranking Democrat on the Senate's Veterans Affairs committee, Tester aired a long list of complaints others had leveled against Jackson, including charges that he improperly dispensed prescription pain medication and once wrecked a government vehicle while driving drunk.
After President Donald Trump launched into yet another unhinged attack on Sen.
There are also many people here supporting Sen.
Tester tried to counter that narrative before Trump got to the state by taking out a full-page ad in more than a dozen newspapers across the state thanking him for signing 16 bills the Democrat sponsored or co-sponsored. He welcomed Tester's Republican opponent, state Auditor Matt Rosendale, to the stage Thursday, calling him a "very special person".
"But Jon Tester said things about him that were disgusting and weren't true".
Twitter lost it that a guy who bragged about its okay to grab women "by the p***y" would dare to touch the #MeToo movement of victims who have bravely come forward to reveal they've been unwantedly sexually harassed, groped, raped and more.
'But then when I thought about it, I don't know ... but he didn't really want to do it. He compared the United States' paying 4 percent of GDP to Germany's 1 percent, saying, "They kill us on trade" - and said America's continued adherence to such arrangements renders us "schmucks that are paying for the whole thing".
President Donald Trump is mocking journalists for questioning his readiness for his upcoming summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin. During the speech, the President slammed reporters and commentators for questioning whether he was preparing for the meeting.
"Trust me, we'll do just fine", he said. "Will I be prepared?"
