EPL: Michael Owen predicts result of Arsenal vs West Ham

Pellegrini has hit back at suggestions Wilshere and Mark Noble can not play together.

Emery expressed his admiration for Wilshere and said the move was made in the best interests of his career, telling reporters: "I spoke with him for 15 minutes here in Colney before he left. I think that every good player can play with others".

"In our process, we are going 38 matches against all the teams, whether you are playing against Manchester City, it's the same as if you're playing against West Ham on Saturday", he said.

Manuel Pellegrini is facing three defeats in three - which would be the worst managerial start by a Hammers boss since Avram Grant lost his opening four league games of the 2010-11 season.

"The first thing for me is I have respect for his career here".

The ex-Real Madrid striker told BetVictor: "The Gunners defending still leaves something to be desired, however, although I do feel they will gain their first win of the season against the Hammers who conceded the lead and all three points against Bournemouth at the weekend". Saturday is another match, tactically it is different.

"Against Bournemouth, we did a good job in the first half but I think it's still not enough because we need to be more clinical".

West Ham United midfielder Jack Wilshere is determined to show Arsenal what they missed out on when he visits his former club for the first time in the Premier League on Saturday.

The England worldwide spent 10 years with the Gunners and, although he has been hindered by injuries at times, Pellegrini says Wilshere can still reach the heights which once saw him earmarked as a potential superstar.

Holland is known for his speed and trickery and has been hailed as one of the brightest prospects in the English game by those behind the scenes at West Ham. But to change the way of playing and to change the system - it is not easy.

Arsenal fans have wanted to see the two experienced and talented goalscorers leading the line in the starting XI and if results continue to go the way they are, Emery may tinker his tactics sooner rather than later and play both stars up top in a bid to turn their fortunes around.
