"Honor Note 10 unveiled with 6.95" screen and 'GPU Turbo' tech

It's been two years since the last Honor Note device was launched, but fans can now look forward to another massive phablet from the Huawei sub-brand with the Honor Note 10, which was announced in China today. This is why liquid cooling present in the Honor Note 10 makes it a suitable handset for mobile gaming as there would be no issues related to overheating.

Honor Note 10 is a premium smartphone with a 6.95-inch AMOLED display and a 5000mAh battery. The best part is that there is also an 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage model that costs $525, making it only the second Honor-branded smartphone to feature 8GB of RAM. It also has Huawei's GPU turbo technology. The smartphone rocks HiSilicon 64-bit octa-core Kirin 970 chipset paired with Honor's GPU Turbo and CPU Turbo technology, and liquid cooling feature. This phone's facial scanning uses the device's front-facing camera in order to operate, and it should work just fine if the company's previous smartphones are anything to go by. The new Honor Note 10 is the successor to the Honor Note 8 launched in 2016. The device also features a 3.5mm jack for audio connectivity, and a hybrid dual-SIM slot that lets you have either two SIM cards simultaneously, or one SIM card and a microSD card for storage expansion. A Type-C USB port is included on the bottom of the Honor Note 10, while the phone comes with Bluetooth 4.2 LE. The selfie camera comes with Portrait Mode, Moving Picture, Panorama, Video, AR lens, Time-Lapse, Filter, and Watermark modes.

However, it remains to be seen if the Honor Note 10 will be released outside of China. Honor has added a 13MP shooter on the front side. For security, there's a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock.

During this first sale, the Honor 9N will be available in two color variants - Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue.

The Honor Note 10 ships with Android 8.1 Oreo, though on top of it, you will find Huawei's Emotion UI (EMUI) skin, in this case, we're looking at variants 8.2, which is the latest Huawei introduced to date. It features a 5.84-inch (1080x2280 pixels) full-HD+ FullView IPS display with an 19:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass.

After teasing for nearly a month, Huawei's Honor has officially unveiled the Honor Note 10 smartphone today in China. The company is expected to unveil the smartphone globally on August 30th at the IFA event in Berlin.
