IPhone XR first hands-on impressions hit the web

Here are ten things you need to know about the Apple's "affordable" new iPhone.

The Apple iPhone Xr will be available for pre-order this week, and local stores have unveiled their pricing for the device. The high-end iPhone XR will hit retail shelves on October 26 in India and other major global markets including the US, UK, UAE etc. Airtel's online store also offers certain bundled offers to help iPhone XR customers avail premium postpaid plans at lower tariffs.

Starting with the iPhone XS, the total that you'll have to pay for the 64GB model will total up to RM4591. It has been a while since Apple has deviated from its usual array of colours for iPhones, and the iPhone XR will be available in black, white, yellow, blue, coral and (PRODUCT) RED colour options. While pre-order for the iPhone XR will begin tomorrow, the device will go on sale starting October 26 across Apple Authorised Resellers in India. The new iPhone XR features a 6.1-inch (1792×828 pixel resolution) Retina LCD display.

"iPhone XR helps us reach even more people with the latest iPhone innovations".

It will, however, come in a 128GB model - along with 64GB and 256GB options - which is said is the ideal storage option for a smartphone. It bears an all-glass design with an aluminium frame surrounding the perimeters.

The iPhone XR with 12MP rear camera and 7MP front sensor claims to have better lowa'light performance. The new iPhone supports dual SIM (Nano+eSIM) and Face ID as well.

The 6.1-inch iPhone XR starts at $749 for 64 gigabytes. It is powered by the A12 Bionic chipset and brings 3GB of RAM as per a benchmark site. However, Apple still provides Portrait Mode with digitally-applied bokeh on this phone by using the same single-camera sorcery that Google did with the Pixel 2 past year.
