Lindsey Graham drops ferocious warning to Dems on their future SCOTUS nominees

Graham was responding to Stephanopoulos' playing a video clip showing Democratic Sen.

Top White House staffers again refuted the report Sunday.

It did not become public until September.

The women who don't have stories like Prof Ford's, or stories that are worse, know that it is only through good fortune that they avoid being victimised by men with predation on their minds. "We need the facts".

At a rally over the weekend, President Trump mocked Feinstein for pretending not to know who leaked the letter.

But more than that, it was disingenuous, and NBC News should have known better; Feinstein definitely knew better.

The comments also seemed to lift the White House.

After reading a quote from New York Sen.

In Kavanaugh's angry and tearful opening statement, supporters saw an expression of the frustration Republicans have felt since Kavanaugh was nominated by President Donald Trump in July.

And at the same time, Thursday's hearing brought about the end of Feinstein's status as a respected, bipartisan adult in the swamp.

As the FBI launches an investigation into sexual assault allegations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh, Sen. The case can be made that if it weren't for Graham, Kavanaugh's confirmation would have been in jeopardy. He'd repeatedly and categorically denied each one of them.

Trump went on to call the FBI investigation into sexual assault allegations against Kavanaugh in high school as a "blessing in disguise" because he believes Kavanaugh will be exonerated.

"Senator, I'll do whatever the committee wants". "Whatever the committee decides, I'm all in - immediately".

He called Democrats' "search and destroy strategy" disgraceful and said the process "has been a total sham and effort to delay, obstruct and resist". Amid the deluge of reaction on social media, one prominent observation: Ford, as a woman, would have been judged as a far weaker witness had she behaved as Kavanaugh did.

In other words, she threw Ford - who alleges to be an assault survivor - under the bus.

Excerpts of Sen. Cornyn's floor remarks are below, and video can be found here. "You had no intention of protecting Dr. Ford; none".

Feinstein is up for reelection in November.

The Intercept's Ryan Grimm, whose publication was first to receive Ford's letter describing her allegation in detail, has denied that either Feinstein or her staff was his source.

Seeing the handwriting on the wall, she announced that she won't seek the endorsement of the California Democratic Party.
