Ben Roethlisberger Issues New Comment On WR Antonio Brown

Asked Wednesday if he thought Brown quit on the Steelers, Tomlin responded that "you can call it what you want to call it". Tomlin is expected to address the media on the issue Wednesday.

Antonio Brown and Ben Roethlisberger are reportedly feuding, although the Pittsburgh QB tried to play down the rumors in a radio interview on Tuesday.

Brown missed multiple practices and meetings leading up to the game against the Bengals and he is also said to have missed Monday's exit meetings.

Granted, the Steelers likely won't trade Brown.

Brown's contract is one of the biggest reasons why it would be hard to see the Steelers trade the 30-year-old receiver.

But CBS's Jason La Canfora assures that a trade request did happen.

"My options may seem limited by people or circumstances", the caption read.

"I'm blessed to play with him. I utilize that gift, choosing to take charge of my life; to express the creativity, vitality and wholeness that truly define me".

Former Steelers linebacker James Harrison added to the drama with a message on Instagram. Which could force them to do something in order to avoid another season filled with even more distractions that trace back to a receiver who has demonstrated in recent months a side far different than the hard-working, always-smiling yardage and touchdown machine.

It doesn't look like the turmoil in Pittsburgh is going to end any time soon, and in fact, it could lead to one of the most talented rosters in the AFC getting blown up. Hopefully, they work things out and it dissipates. I'm sure Kevin, Coach Tomlin will be talking to him but going forward that's unacceptable. "If you're legitimately open to doing what's necessary to not be here (out of the playoffs) next year, then we don't rule out anything". Adams came close to a record-breaking year in 2018, nearly eclipsing team records in receptions and yards.
